2-Killing vector fields on warped product manifolds [PDF]
This paper provides a study of 2-Killing vector fields on warped product manifolds as well as characterization of this structure on standard static and generalized Robertson–Walker space-times. Some conditions for a 2-Killing vector field on a warped product manifold to be parallel are obtained.

Concircular vector fields for Kantowski Sachs and Bianchi type III spacetimes
This paper intends to obtain concircular vector fields of Kantowski Sachs and Bianch type III spacetimes. For this purpose, ten conformal Killing equations and their general solution in the form of conformal Killing vector fields are derived along with ...

Some New Results on Trans-Sasakian Manifolds
In this paper, we classify trans-Sasakian manifolds which are realized as real hypersurfaces in a complex space form. We also investigate trans-Sasakian manifolds whose Reeb vector fields are harmonic-Killing.

Stationary and axially symmetric space-times play an important role in astrophysics, particularly in the theory of neutron stars and black holes. The static vacuum sub-class of these space-times is known as Weyl's class, and contains the Schwarzschild ...

Killing Vector Fields of Invariant Metrics on Five-Dimensional Solvable Lie Groups
In this paper we study the existence of Killing vector fields for right-invariant metrics on five-dimensional Lie groups. We begin by providing some explanation of the classification lists of the low-dimensional Lie algebras.

Analytic Extension of Riemannian Analytic Manifolds and Local Isometries
This article deals with a locally given Riemannian analytic manifold. One of the main tasks is to define its regular analytic extension in order to generalize the notion of completeness.

Conformal Symmetries of the Strumia–Tetradis’ Metric
In a recent paper, a new conformally flat metric was introduced, describing an expanding scalar field in a spherically symmetric geometry. The spacetime can be interpreted as a Schwarzschild-like model with an apparent horizon surrounding the curvature ...

A new method to compute quasi-local spin and other invariants on marginally trapped surfaces
We accurately compute the scalar 2-curvature, the Weyl scalars, associated quasi-local spin, mass and higher multipole moments on marginally trapped surfaces in numerical 3+1 simulations.

Integrability of Nonholonomic Heisenberg Type Systems [PDF]
We show that some modern geometric methods of Hamiltonian dynamics can be directly applied to the nonholonomic Heisenberg type systems. As an example we present characteristic Killing tensors, compatible Poisson brackets, Lax matrices and classical $r ...

Killing Vector Fields in Generalized Conformal β-Change of Finsler Spaces
We consider a Finsler space equipped with a Generalized Conformal β-change of metric and study the Killing vector fields that correspond between the original Finsler space and the Finsler space equipped with Generalized Conformal β-change of metric.
