2+1 gravity and Doubly Special Relativity
It is shown that gravity in 2+1 dimensions coupled to point particles provides a nontrivial example of Doubly Special Relativity (DSR). This result is obtained by interpretation of previous results in the field and by exhibiting an explicit ...

Color-Kinematics Duality for QCD Amplitudes [PDF]
We show that color-kinematics duality is present in tree-level amplitudes of quantum chromodynamics with massive flavored quarks. Starting with the color structure of QCD, we work out a new color decomposition for n-point tree amplitudes in a reduced ...

Humid‐Air Condensation Heat Transfer on Hierarchical Structured Superhydrophobic Graphite Composites
Humid‐air condensation on graphite composites shows that making a surface superhydrophobic is not sufficient to enhance heat transfer. A hierarchical CuO/lauric‐acid coating yields spherical droplets but promotes Wenzel‐type pinning and adds effective thermal resistance under operation.

Relativistic kinematics beyond Special Relativity
In the context of departures from Special Relativity written as a momentum power expansion in the inverse of an ultraviolet energy scale M, we derive the constraints that the relativity principle imposes between coefficients of a deformed composition law,

Anti‐Slip Material‐Based Strategies and Approaches
This review highlights the principle mechanisms of slipping at the microscale, linking contact mechanics with a friction behavior model for surface interfaces. Main strategies to develop anti‐slip properties to the surfaces are discussed alongside standardized testing approaches.

The problem of inverse kinematics is fundamental in robot control. Many traditional inverse kinematics solutions, such as geometry, iteration, and algebraic methods, are inadequate in high-speed solutions and accurate positioning.

In the quantum-gravity literature there has been interest in the possibility that quantum properties of spacetime might affect the energy/momentum dispersion relation.

Particle-level pileup subtraction for jets and jet shapes [PDF]
We present an extension to the jet area-based pileup subtraction for both jet kinematics and jet shapes. A particle-level approach is explored whereby the jet constituents are corrected or removed using an extension of the methods currently being ...

Advances in Solid‐Phase Processing Techniques: Innovations, Applications, and Future Perspectives
Based on practical manufacturing challenges, this review examines advanced solid‐phase processing techniques that overcome the inherent limitations of conventional melting‐based and traditional solid‐phase manufacturing, enabling the production of higher‐performance components at reduced cost through process innovation and improved supply‐chain ...

Improvement of q2 Resolution in Semileptonic Decays Based on Machine Learning
The neutrino closure method is often used to obtain kinematics of semileptonic decays with one unreconstructed particle in hadron collider experiments. The kinematics of decays can be deducted by a twofold ambiguity with a quadratic equation.
