NOVEL ANALYTIC-NUMERICAL MODEL OF FREE CONVECTION: WITH LEADING EDGE CONSIDERED
A novel solution of the free convection boundary problem is represented in analytical form for velocity and temperature for an isothermal vertical plate, as an example.

The Kirchhoff approximation is widely used to describe the scatter of elastodynamic waves. It simulates the scattered field as the convolution of the free-space Green’s tensor with the geometrical elastodynamics approximation to the total field on the ...

ABSTRACT Amid the ongoing global energy transition, the short‐circuit ratios of AC power grids are continuously decreasing. Grid‐forming voltage source converter‐based high voltage direct current transmission (GFM VSC‐HVDC) systems have therefore come to the forefront of attention.

Positive solutions for a degenerate p-Kirchhoff problem with singular and sublinear nonlinearities
In this paper, we study the following $p$-Kirchhoff-type elliptic problem: \begin{equation*} \begin{cases}%{ll} -M\left(\displaystyle\int_{\Omega}\vert \nabla u\vert^{p}\right)\displaystyle\mathrm{div}\left(\vert\nabla u\vert^{p-2}\nabla u\right ...

To Calculation of Rectangular Plates on Periodic Oscillations
Geometrically nonlinear mathematical model of the problem of parametric oscillations of a viscoelastic orthotropic plate of variable thickness is developed using the classical Kirchhoff-Love hypothesis.

ABSTRACT We explore how corporates working towards valid Science‐based Targets engage with their suppliers to collect Scope 3 emissions data. This is important to enable such corporates to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve net‐zero by 2050. Utilising agency theory, we analyse 1402 responses from the 2021 CDP climate change survey.

Abstract We introduce mixed super‐circles, a position‐curvature formulation of the original dynamic 2D super‐helix model. Compared to the latter, purely curvature‐based model – the so‐called chained formulation –, the mixed formulation that we propose here drastically reduces the algorithmic complexity of the solving scheme – from quadratic to quasi ...

Fast Nodal Hessian Computation for Peridynamic Fracture Simulation
A fast, exact nodal Hessian computation for Non‐Ordinary State‐Based Peridynamics is introduced through analytical simplification and a warp‐centric GPU strategy. The method accelerates preconditioned solvers and Vertex Block Descent, enabling interactive fracture simulation with physical accuracy.
