Concentrating solutions for a fractional Kirchhoff equation with critical growth

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we consider the following class of fractional Kirchhoff equations with critical growth: \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} \left(\varepsilon^{2s}a+\varepsilon^{4s-3}b\int_{\mathbb{R}^{3}}|(-\Delta)^{\frac{s}{2}}u|^{2}dx\right ...

Surface Plasmon Enhanced Photoluminescence of Carbon Dots Formed In Situ on Silver Gratings

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Carbon emitters formed in situ on a silver grating via plasmonic catalysis yield enhanced spontaneous emission by preferential radiative decay into surface plasmons. Enhancement manifests as emission exhibiting characteristics of coherence (polarization, directionality), and accelerated lifetimes of ∼30 ps, yielding Purcell factors of ∼70.

The Existence of Multiple Solutions for Nonhomogeneous Kirchhoff Type Equations in

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We are concerned with the existence of multiple solutions to the nonhomogeneous Kirchhoff type equation where are positive constants, , we can find a constant such that for all the equation has at least two radial solutions provided .

Asymptotics of Solution Curves of Kirchhoff Type Elliptic Equations with Logarithmic Kirchhoff Function

open access: yesQualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems, 2023
We study the one-dimensional nonlocal elliptic equation of Kirchhoff type with logarithmic Kirchhoff function. We establish the precise asymptotic formulas for the solution $u_\lambda(x)$ as $\lambda \to \infty$. Here, $\lambda > 0$ is the bifurcation parameter.

All Organic Fully Integrated Neuromorphic Crossbar Array

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, the first fully integrated crossbar array of electrochemical random‐access memory (ECRAM) that is composed entirely of organic materials is represented. This array can perform inference and in situ parallel training and is capable of classifying linearly separable 2D and 3D classification tasks with high accuracy.

Quantum effective potential, electron transport and conformons in biopolymers

open access: yes, 2005
In the Kirchhoff model of a biopolymer, conformation dynamics can be described in terms of solitary waves, for certain special cross-section asymmetries.

An Existence Result for Fractional Kirchhoff-Type Equations

open access: yesZeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 2016
The aim of this paper is to study a class of nonlocal fractional Laplacian equations of Kirchhoff-type. More precisely, by using an appropriate analytical context on fractional Sobolev spaces, we establish the existence of one non-trivial weak solution for nonlocal fractional problems exploiting suitable variational methods.

Life‐Cycle Assessment of Printed Electronic Components ‐ Case Study for Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This tutorial introduces a practical framework for implementing early‐stage Life‐Cycle Assessment (LCA) in flexible and printed electronics. Using organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) as a case study, the modular Process‐of‐Record and open‐access inventory provides a rich resource adaptable to a plethora of technologies in printed electronics ...

Stability and critical dimension for Kirchhoff systems in closed manifolds

open access: yesAdvanced Nonlinear Studies
The Kirchhoff equation was proposed in 1883 by Kirchhoff [Vorlesungen über Mechanik, Leipzig, Teubner, 1883] as an extension of the classical D’Alembert’s wave equation for the vibration of elastic strings. Almost one century later, Jacques Louis Lions [“

The existence of positive solutions for Kirchhoff-type problems via the sub-supersolution method

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2018
In this paper we discuss the existence of a solution between wellordered subsolution and supersolution of the Kirchhoff equation. Using the sub-supersolution method together with a Rabinowitz-type global bifurcation theory, we establish the existence of ...
