Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.

Hyperbolic-parabolic singular perturbation for Kirchhoff equations with weak dissipation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We consider Kirchhoff equations with a small parameter epsilon in front of the second-order time-derivative, and a dissipative term whose coefficient may tend to 0 as t -> + infinity (weak dissipation).

On necessary conditions for the Comparison Principle and the Sub and Supersolutions Method for the stationary Kirchhoff Equation

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we propose a counterexample to the validity of the Comparison Principle and of the Sub and Supersolution Method for nonlocal problems like the stationary Kirchhoff Equation.

RRAM Variability Harvesting for CIM‐Integrated TRNG

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a compute‐in‐memory‐compatible true random number generator that harvests intrinsic cycle‐to‐cycle variability from a 1T1R RRAM array. Parallel entropy extraction enables high‐throughput bit generation without dedicated circuits. This approach achieves NIST‐compliant randomness and low per‐bit energy, offering a scalable hardware

Surface Energy Modulated Self‐Assembly of Percolative Gallium Nanodroplet Films for Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Surface‐energy guided self‐assembly of liquid metals enables the transformation of liquid metal micro/nanodroplets into continuous perocolative films on elastomeric substrates. By tailoring interfacial energetics and wetting behavior, uniform, conductive, and stretchable films are achieved, offering scalable pathways for high‐performance soft ...

Triple Solutions for Nonlinear μ1·,μ2·—Laplacian–Schrödinger–Kirchhoff Type Equations

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces
In this manuscript, we study a μ1·,μ2·—Laplacian–Schrödinger–Kirchhoff equation involving a continuous positive potential that satisfies del Pino–Felmer type conditions: K1∫ℝN1/μ1z∇ψμ1z dz+∫ℝN1/μ1zVzψμ1z dz−Δμ1·ψ+Vzψμ1z−2ψ+K2∫ℝN1/μ2z∇ψμ2z dz+∫ℝN1 ...

Implications of Transient Negative Capacitance Effect in Ferroelectric Polarization Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Transient voltage artifacts observed during ferroelectric switching are shown to originate from measurement circuitry rather than intrinsic negative capacitance. By correlating switching current, time scale, and series resistance, this work establishes practical design rules for reliable pulse‐switching experiments and circuit integration of ...

Model‐Based Time‐Modulated Write Algorithm for 1R Analog Memristive Crossbar Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel model‐based time‐modulated write algorithm efficiently programs analog 1R memristive crossbar arrays by varying pulse duration at a fixed voltage. By leveraging a physics‐based compact model and a dynamic gain mechanism, this approach overcomes device nonlinearities and parasitic effects.

An Exactly Solvable Case for a Thin Elastic Rod [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We present a new exact solution for the twist of an asymmetric thin elastic rods. The shape of such rods is described by the static Kirchhoff equations.

Toward Capacitive In‐Memory‐Computing: A Device to Systems Level Perspective on the Future of Artificial Intelligence Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Capacitive, charge‐domain compute‐in‐memory (CIM) stores weights as capacitance, eliminating DC sneak paths and IR‐drop, yielding near‐zero standbypower. In this perspective, we present a device to systems level performance analysis of most promising architectures and predict apathway for upscaling capacitive CIM for sustainable edge computing ...
