Sonographic diagnosis of Klatskin tumors
American Journal of Roentgenology, 1986The sonograms of 14 patients with pathologically proven Klatskin tumors presenting between 1974 and 1985 were reviewed. All 14 patients demonstrated dilated intrahepatic bile ducts with a normal-sized extrahepatic biliary tree. In seven patients this was the only finding. The other seven patients demonstrated one or more additional abnormalities. These

Cholangiocarcinoma of the hepatic hilum (Klatskin tumor)
Current Treatment Options in Gastroenterology, 2002Since the description by Klatskin in 1965, the management of patients with adenocarcinoma of the hepatic bile duct bifurcation is viewed as a challenging clinical problem with a relatively poor prognosis. [Resection of Klatskin tumors].
Der Chirurg; Zeitschrift fur alle Gebiete der operativen Medizen, 2012Curative treatment of Klatskin tumors by radical surgical procedures with surgical preparation distant to the tumor region results in 5-year survival rates of 30-50%.
