The global emergence of hypervirulent, carbapenem‐resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (hvCRKP) poses a paradox: why do such dangerous clones remain geographically confined? By analyzing over 2500 CC23 genomes across 90 years, we uncover a core evolutionary constraint—virulence and resistance rarely coexist without trade‐offs. Potent carbapenemases (blaKPC,

The prevalence of urinary tract infections, and antibiotic susceptibility pattern of the bacterial isolates were investigated among patients. The findings suggest an increasing rate of antibiotics resistance among the bacterial isolates, and a high prevalence rate of UTIs among women. The bacterial isolates were all found to be susceptible to meropenem.

The vaginal microbiome is vital to women's health. We assessed the effects of short‐term storage and human DNA depletion on microbial profiles. While overall composition remained stable, trends in beta diversity and internal controls suggest subtle effects on low‐abundance species, highlighting the need for robust analytical design.

Our research found that people in Bangladesh had a considerable increase in antibiotic resistance in their gut bacteria due to self‐medication with antibiotics during the COVID‐19 pandemic. To prevent the spread of antibiotic‐resistant bacteria, our research highlighted the crucial role of raising awareness and using antibiotics appropriately ...
