Quinazolinone‐based compounds emerge as potent antimycobacterial agents, showing low minimum inhibitory concentrations against drug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Molecular modeling uncovers a novel allosteric site in PonA1 targeted by these derivatives.

This study aims to analyze the phytochemical composition and in silico and in vitro biological activity of Fibigia clypeata (L.) Medik essential oil is a natural pharmaceutical source for the first time in the literature. GC–MS Analysis showed that dimethyl disulfide and dimethyl trisulfide were the main compounds of the plant essential oil.
