Mechanisms of Pericyte‐Mediated Cancer Metastasis
Pericytes play multifarious roles in promoting cancer metastasis by facilitating metastatic cancer cell dissemination, circulating tumor cell survival, tissue extravasation, premetastatic niche formation, and metastatic tumor growth. These cells have intertwined interactions with vascular endothelial cells to modulate cancer cell behavior and ...

Molecular Genetics of Intracranial Meningiomas with Emphasis on Canonical Wnt Signalling. [PDF]
Research over the last decade recognized the importance of novel molecular pathways in pathogenesis of intracranial meningiomas. In this review, we focus on human brain tumours meningiomas and the involvement of Wnt signalling pathway genes and proteins ...

SIRT2-KLF4 Interactions are Critical for Myeloma Survival and Migration
Objective. To investigate the roles and possible mechanisms of SIRT2 and KLF4 in the development and progression of myeloma. Methods. Rt-PCR was used to detect SIRT2 in myeloma samples from patients and myeloma cells, the expression level of KLF4 in myeloma cells, and the effect of downregulation of SIRT2 expression on KLF4 expression level.

Conserving genetic material and even increasing genetic diversity is critical. To conduct the conservation of wild boar germplasm resources, we have successfully obtained healthy cloned wild boars for the first time using interspecies somatic cell nuclear transfer and established transgene‐free iPSCs that can be used to conduct iterative rounds of gene

The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

Investigation and Comparison of Communication Network and Expression of KLF4 and POU5F1 Genes During Spermatogenesis [PDF]
Introduction: Spermatogenesis is the primary process of sperm production occuring in seminiferous tubules. Spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) have the ability for self-renewal, differentiation, and the transmission of genetic information to subsequent ...
