One special kind of Kloosterman sum and its fourth-power mean
This article aims to investigate the calculation problem of the fourth-power mean of the specific Kloosterman sums by utilizing analytic methods and the properties of classical Gauss sums.

The Exotic Inverted Kloosterman Sum
Abstract Let $B$ be a product of finitely many finite fields containing $\mathbb{F}_{q}$, $\psi :\mathbb{F}_{q}\to \overline{\mathbb{Q}}_\ell ^{*}$ a nontrivial additive character, and $\chi : B^{*}\to \overline{\mathbb{Q}}_\ell ^{*}$ a multiplicative character.

An efficient deterministic test for Kloosterman sum zeros [PDF]
We propose a simple deterministic test for deciding whether or not a non-zero element $a \in \F_{2^n}$ or $\F_{3^n}$ is a zero of the corresponding Kloosterman sum over these fields, and analyse its complexity.

On sums of hyper-Kloosterman sums
Abstract A formula of Kuznetsov allows one to interpret a smooth sum of Kloosterman sums as a sum over the spectrum of GL (

Oxidative Stress Induced Senescent Macrophage-Driven Squamous Cell Carcinoma Invasion via Glutamine Metabolic Reprogramming. [PDF]
Oxidative stress induces GLS2‐dependent IL‐1β secretion in senescent macrophages, promoting SCC invasion through the IL‐1β/IL‐1R2 axis. Targeting IL‐1β suppresses invasion more effectively than GLS2 inhibition, highlighting a potential therapeutic strategy for SCC.

Some Identities Involving Certain Hardy Sums and General Kloosterman Sums
Using the properties of Gauss sums, the orthogonality relation of character sum and the mean value of Dirichlet L-function, we obtain some exact computational formulas for the hybrid mean value involving general Kloosterman sums K ( r , l , λ ...

Neural Oscillations Track Subjective and Pupillary Arousal During Naturalistic Movie Viewing. [PDF]
In this study, participants watched an emotionally evocative movie while EEG, pupil size and continuous subjective arousal annotations were recorded. By extracting the mean group arousal signatures, we revealed a cross‐modal convergence (r = 0.40) between the pupillary and subjective measures.
