Criterion-related validity of knee joint-position-sense measurement using image capture and isokinetic dynamometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Context: Clinicians require portable, valid, and cost-effective methods to monitor knee joint-position-sense (JPS) ability. Objective: To examine the criterion-related validity of image-capture JPS measures against an isokinetic-dynamometer (IKD ...

Total knee arthroplasty in the valgus knee [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Orthopaedics, 2013
Valgus knee deformity is a challenge in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and it is observed in nearly 10% of patients undergoing TKA. The valgus deformity is sustained by anatomical variations divided into bone remodelling and soft tissue contraction/elongation.
