Stretchable h‐BN/TPU Fibers for Passive‐Active Dual‐Mode Thermal Management and Wearable Haptic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Optimized 30 wt.% h‐BN/TPU fibers create a thermal conductivity of 2.08 W·m−1·K−1 while retaining mechanical compliance (422% elongation at break). Woven fabrics reduce surface temperature by 5.7°C under simulated solar irradiation. Glove integration enables localized fingertip heating at 29.55°C·s−1 with a thermal relaxation time of approximately 20 s.

Sports Activity Recognition Using Textile‐Based Sensor Fusion and Complex‐Valued Residual Convolutional Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Motion artifacts in electrocardiographic signals, conventionally dismissed as noise, are shown to encode discriminative activity information. A smart t‐shirt fusing textile strain sensors with textile ECG electrodes, processed through a complex‐valued residual network, recognizes 12 sport activities.

Restoring joint homeostasis: A dynamically adaptive meniscal scaffold prevents osteoarthritis by replicating native biomechanics

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
This work establishes a paradigm shift from static structural mimicry to dynamic functional replication. By restoring the native “compression‐to‐tension” mechanism, the scaffold ensures robust mechanical stability and superior chondroprotection.
