New analytical forms of a deuteron wave function for potentials of the Nijmegen group
To approximate the deuteron wave function in coordinate representation, two new analytical forms were proposed. They are represented as the product of the power function rn for the sum of exponential terms Ai⋅exp(-ai⋅r3).

This is an introduction to the construction of higher-dimensional knots by spinning methods. Simple spinning of classical knots was introduced by E. Artin in 1926, and several generalizations have followed. These include twist spinning, superspinning or p-spinning, frame spinning, roll spinning, and deform spinning.

Soft robotic arms are promising for gentle grasping but often rely on bulky actuation systems. This work presents a computational design framework that optimizes tendon number and routing to achieve target grasps with fewer actuators. Validated on an octopus‐inspired underwater arm, the approach enables efficient, underactuated soft manipulators for ...

The dynamical model on 3+1 dimensional spacetime admitting soliton solutions is discussed. The proposal soliton is localized in the vicinity of a closed contour, which could be linked and/or knotted. The topological charge is Hopf invariant. Some applications in realistic physical systems are indicated.

A Flexible and Energy‐Efficient Compute‐in‐Memory Accelerator for Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks
This article presents KA‐CIM, a compute‐in‐memory accelerator for Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks (KANs). It enables flexible and efficient computation of arbitrary nonlinear functions through cross‐layer co‐optimization from algorithm to device. KA‐CIM surpasses CPU, ASIC, VMM‐CIM, and prior KAN accelerators by 1–3 orders of magnitude in energy‐delay ...

Soft Artificial Ciliary Brush with Integrated Haptic Feedback for Efficient Airway Mucus Cleaning
A fundamental mucus cleaning mechanism is reported, which utilizes both artificial cilia mechanical sweeping and suction‐based mucus cleaning. A novel haptic feedback interface for the artificial cilia provides touch feedback on tissue contact, enhancing operator control and safety.

Climate change and perennial crop production: Evidence of yield impact and adaptation in California
Abstract Perennial crops are economically important. They contribute to food security, providing essential nutrients that are often lacking in annual crops, and provide additional environmental benefits compared with annual crops. Despite their importance, empirical research on the impacts of climate change and adaptation on perennial crops remains ...

Alzheimer's Disease Co‐Pathology and Cognitive Impairment in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Objectives Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer's disease (AD) share neuropathological features, including tau, amyloid, and TDP‐43 pathology. This study investigated whether AD‐related pathological changes are associated with cognitive impairment ALS. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF total‐tau, phosphorylated‐tau, beta‐amyloid) and plasma

Squeezed knots are those knots that appear as slices of genus-minimizing oriented smooth cobordisms between positive and negative torus knots. We show that this class of knots is large and discuss how to obstruct squeezedness. The most effective obstructions appear to come from quantum knot invariants, notably including refinements of the Rasmussen ...
