Resilience of floral scent emission after florivory
Florivory is thought to affect floral traits, impacting pollination. However, our data suggest a stability in post‐florivory scent emission, which may guarantee the maintenance of pollinator visitation regardless of florivory, indicating a resilience of natural systems with multiple and simultaneous interactions. Banksia attenuata (Proteaceae) attracts nocturnal scarab beetles with an unusual floral scent—the beetles pollinate the flower as they feed on pollen and nectar and mate on the inflorescences. Abstract Pollination by beetles has evolved multiple times in flowering plants but with relatively few plant species adapted specifically to pollination by ...

Abstract This paper presents a global statistical investigation into the topside ionosphere electron density response to X‐class solar flares during geomagnetically quiet conditions (Kp ≤ $\mathit{\le }$ 2) using Swarm satellites (462–511 km) data from 2014 to 2024.

Controlling of the F Region Plasma Structures by the E Region Conductance in the Auroral Ionosphere
Abstract At high latitudes, the E and F regions of the ionosphere are strongly coupled through nearly vertical magnetic field lines. To simultaneously and directly relate the E and F regions' plasma structures, we ran a coordinated conjunction campaign between Swarm satellites and Incoherent Scatter Radar in Tromsø, Norway, during a moderate ...

Two Decades of Ross and Weddell Gyre Variability From Observations
Abstract The Weddell and Ross Gyres influence climate‐relevant processes including poleward heat transport, nutrient upwelling and carbon sequestration. However, long‐term tracking of changes to their circulation is limited by the sparsity of observations characteristic of the region.
