Remote Sensing Letters, 2015The KOMPSAT-3 (Korean Multi-Purpose Satellite-3) spacecraft was successfully launched on 18 May 2012, with the mission to provide high-resolution imagery for civilian and defence users. The 6S radiative transfer model was also used by inputting various initial parameters, such as the spectral response function of KOMPSAT-3, and atmospheric and geometric conditions.
