KONDO EFFECT IN MESOSCOPIC SYSTEM
We discuss numerically exact continuous-time Quantum Monte Carlo algorithms for electronic structure calculations of nanosystems with a general non-local in space-time interaction. The problem of three interacting Kondo impurities on metallic substrate has been investigated.

Abstract BACKGROUND Red wine is a high‐value grape derivative containing complex chemical compounds that dictate its quality. Qualitative and quantitative determination of these compounds is essential for standardizing and classifying the product. This proof‐of‐concept study integrates chemometric methods and machine learning algorithms to establish ...

Heterodimensional Kondo superlattices with strong anisotropy
Localized magnetic moments in non-magnetic materials, by interacting with the itinerary electrons, can profoundly change the metallic properties, developing various correlated phenomena such as the Kondo effect, heavy fermion, and unconventional ...

Switching Molecular Kondo Effect via Supramolecular Interaction
We apply supramolecular assembly to control the adsorption configuration of Co-porphyrin molecules on Au(111) and Cu(111) surfaces. By means of cryogenic scanning tunneling microscopy, we reveal that the Kondo effect associated with the Co center is ...

Time‐Continuous Prognostic Mapping of Bell's Palsy Using Yanagihara Scores and Electroneurography
This study developed a novel, time‐continuous prognostic mapping for Bell's palsy by integrating longitudinal Yanagihara scores and electroneurography in patients treated with high‐dose corticosteroids. By employing a Bayesian probabilistic approach, this model enables individualized recovery estimation at any clinical time point, overcoming the ...

Conformal field theory analysis of the QCD Kondo effect
International audienceWe study nonperturbative aspects of the QCD Kondo effect, which has been recently proposed for the finite density and strong magnetic field systems, using conformal field theory describing the low-energy physics near the IR fixed ...

Holographic mean field theory and Kondo lattice
We first study a non-relativistic field theory model for the Kondo lattice by introducing the Kondo condensation, whose main effect is the hybridization of the flat band of the localized electron with dispersive one of the itinerant electron. The problem

The Kondo Effect of Surface Excitons
A recombination radiation line of real excitons in dense two-dimensional electron gas at the [100] silicon surface is observed in luminescence spectra of metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) structures. A new effect of anisotropic paramagnetic reduction of the luminescence line indicates a strong influence of the Kondo correlations on electron paramagnetism
