Trend of Bleaching In Kraft Pulp

古くから,クラフトパルプの漂白は,塩素,次亜塩素酸塩,二酸化塩素の塩素系薬品を使って行なわれてきた。しかしながら,1980年代の北欧において,バルト海の汚染問題を契機に塩素漂白排水中の有機塩素化合物の環境影響が議論され,1990年代からは多くの国々で塩素漂白が中止され,ECF(Elementary Chlorine Free)漂白法への転換が進んだ。本報告では,クラフトパルプ用漂白剤をその脱リグニン機構に基づいて分類した上で,漂白剤の変遷という観点から,1960年代から今日に至るまでのクラフトパルプ漂白の変遷について述べる。
