Top‐Down Proteomics: Why and When?

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Manifold biological processes at all levels of transcription and translation can lead to the formation of a high number of different protein species (i.e., proteoforms), which outnumber the sequences encoded in the genome by far. Due to the large number of protein molecules formed in this way, which span an enormous range of different ...

Exploring relationships between tumor mutation burden with immunity and prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma based on weighted gene co‐expression network analysis

open access: yesPrecision Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
This study reveals that high TMB in lung adenocarcinoma correlates with better survival prognosis and lower immune/stromal scores. Through WGCNA and consensus clustering, we identify two LUAD subtypes with distinct prognoses and mutation frequencies, offering novel insights for immunotherapy response prediction and prognosis stratification.

ClusterNet: Classifying Single‐Molecule Localization Microscopy Datasets with Graph‐Based Deep Learning of Supracluster Structure

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
ClusterNet is a graph‐based deep learning pipeline for classifying single‐molecule localization microscopy (SMLM) data. It acts directly on point‐cloud localization data from a field of view of any size, using features of individual clusters of localizations together with their spatial arrangement.

Bioengineered Extracellular Vesicles in Emerging Cancer Vaccine Platforms

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
This review highlights recent advances in engineering extracellular vesicles (EVs) as next‐generation cancer vaccines. It outlines their biological roles and antigen‐presenting capacity, explores key strategies for antigen loading and delivery optimization, and summarizes preclinical and clinical applications using EVs from diverse immune and tumor ...
