Shuffles of permutations and the Kronecker product
Graphs and Combinatorics, 1985In this paper the authors have obtained a general result relating to shuffles of permutation and Kronecker products which leads to combinatorial interpretation of the Kronecker coefficient \(C_{i,j,k}=\) where \(S_ i\) are the Schur functions. Most of the paper is devoted to the earlier work in this field with new proofs and interesting interpretations.

Receiver Design for MIMO Unsourced Random Access With Sparse Kronecker-Product Coding
IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2023In this letter, we extend the sparse Kronecker-product (SKP) coding scheme, originally designed for the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel, to multiple input multiple output (MIMO) unsourced random access (URA).

Reverberation, whichis caused by late reflections, impairs not only speech quality but also intelligibility. Consequently, dereverberation, a process to mitigate the impact of reverberation, has attracted significant research interests.

Time Difference of Arrival Estimation Based on a Kronecker Product Decomposition
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2021Time difference of arrival (TDOA) estimation, which often serves as the fundamental step for a source localization or a beamforming system, has a significant practical importance in a wide spectrum of applications.

Nearest Kronecker Product Decomposition Based Linear-in-The-Parameters Nonlinear Filters
IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio Speech and Language Processing, 2021A linear-in-the-parameters nonlinear filter consists of a functional expansion block, which expands the input signal to a higher dimensional space nonlinearly, followed by an adaptive weight network.

Identification of Room Acoustic Impulse Responses via Kronecker Product Decompositions
IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio Speech and Language Processing, 2022The identification of room acoustic impulse responses represents a challenging problem in the framework of many important applications related to the acoustic environment, like echo cancellation, noise reduction, and microphone arrays, among others.

Matrices arising from 2D and 3D problems sometimes have a Kronecker product structure. Identifying a Kronecker structure can be very rewarding since it simplifies the derivation of properties of such matrices.
