Generalized Graph Product and its Application on Generating Solutions of the Millennium n-Queens Problem

open access: yesREMAT, 2022
The generalized Kronecker graph product was introduced by Figueroa-Centeno et al. (2008). Later, Baca et al. (2018) used it for obtaining solutions of the n-queens problem on larger boards from solutions on smaller boards.

Kronecker products and BIBDs

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A, 1973
AbstractRecursive constructions are given which permit, under conditions described in the paper, a (v, b, r, k, λ)-configuration to be used to obtain a (v′, b′, r′, k, λ)-configuration.

A study on input noise second-order filtering and smoothing of linear stochastic discrete systems with packet dropouts

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
We investigate non-Gaussian noise second-order filtering and fixed-order smoothing problems for non-Gaussian stochastic discrete systems with packet dropouts.

A Test for Kronecker Product Structure Covariance Matrix [PDF]

open access: yesSocial Science Research Network, 2020
We propose a test that a covariance matrix has Kronecker Product Structure (KPS). KPS implies a reduced rank restriction on an invertible transformation of the covariance matrix and the new procedure is an adaptation of the Kleibergen and Paap (2006 ...

A Unifying Thermodynamic Model for Phase Separation and Aging of Biopolymers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phase separation and aging of intrinsically disordered proteins are placed in a unifying framework. A thermodynamically consistent time‐dependent version of associating‐polymer theory shows how the processes are intricately coupled. Assuming aging to occur through interacting sites resulting from reversible conformational transitions, the model ...

MDAKRLS: Predicting human microbe-disease association based on Kronecker regularized least squares and similarities

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine, 2021
Background Microbes are closely related to human health and diseases. Identification of disease-related microbes is of great significance for revealing the pathological mechanism of human diseases and understanding the interaction mechanisms between ...

Kronecker products and the RSK correspondence

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2012
The starting point for this work is an identity that relates the number of minimal matrices with prescribed 1-marginals and coefficient sequence to a linear combination of Kronecker coefficients. In this paper we provide a bijection that realizes combinatorially this identity.

Voltage‐Reconfigurable Magneto‐Ionic Nanolayers in Dot Arrays for Probabilistic, Materials‐Engineered Security Primitives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A magneto‐ionic security‐by‐materials‐design strategy exploits voltage‐driven N3– migration in selectively contacted FeCoN dots, creating reconfigurable sub‐15 nm ferromagnetic sublayers with deterministic and/or probabilistic (single‐domain↔vortex) states, voltage‐tunable probabilities and fully stochastic orientation/chirality.

Generalized Petersen graphs and Kronecker covers [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2019
The family of generalized Petersen graphs $G(n,k)$, introduced by Coxeter et al. [4] and named by Mark Watkins (1969), is a family of cubic graphs formed by connecting the vertices of a regular polygon to the corresponding vertices of a star polygon. The
