A First‐Principles Study of the Energy Level Distributions of Oxygen Vacancy Defects in Eu‐Doped SrAl2O4

In this study, the energy level distributions of oxygen vacancies in europium‐doped strontium aluminate (Eu‐doped SrAl2O4) are estimated by first‐principles calculations. The results indicate that the energy levels are distributed at 2.5 eV or higher and vary depending on the Eu valence state.
