Abstract Futures markets are critical to price discovery and often dominate spot markets. We analyze the linkages between daily corn futures and spot prices in the United States using dynamic time warping. This nonparametric pattern recognition technique has several advantages over traditional time series methods.

Gravitational Time Potential Energy
We extend the Einstein equivalence principle via a supplementary local energy equivalence postulate and propose the gravitational time potential energy (GTP) framework: a time‐dimensional scalar potential accumulating continuously with the proper duration of gravitational action. This framework may provide a potential classical interpretation for alpha

An introduction to the Kuiper Belt dynamics and collisional evolution
The existence of an outer belt of small bodies in the Solar System has been inferred for long. Since the first direct observation of a Kuiper Belt Object in 1992, an intensive observational and modeling effort has been made to understand the origin and ...

Dynamical Studies of the Kuiper Belt and the Centaurs
The Kuiper belt is a population of small bodies located outside Neptune's orbit. The observed Kuiper belt objects (KBOs) can be divided into several subclasses based on their dynamical structure.

We present the first set of trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs) observed on multiple nights in data taken from the DECam Ecliptic Exploration Project. Of these 110 TNOs, 105 do not coincide with previously known TNOs and appear to be new discoveries.

TIME-RESOLVED NEAR-INFRARED PHOTOMETRY OF EXTREME KUIPER BELT OBJECT HAUMEA [PDF]
We present time-resolved near-infrared (J and H) photometry of the extreme Kuiper belt object (136108) Haumea (formerly 2003 EL61) taken to further investigate rotational variability of this object.

The Frequency of Binary Kuiper Belt Objects
We estimate the frequency of widely spaced (separations greater than 05) Kuiper Belt binaries (KBBs) from surveys for new Kuiper Belt objects (KBOs) with the Deep Ecliptic Survey and through recovery observations for newly discovered KBOs at the Magellan telescopes.

Relative weathering indices and three‐dimensional fabric analyses demonstrate allochthonous emplacement of the Hickory Run Boulder Field via periglacial mass movement. Spatially coherent trends confirm a time‐transgressive surface formed under Pleistocene permafrost conditions, with tributary‐like integration of clasts from a secondary boulder field ...

Evidence for a Collisional Mechanism Affecting Kuiper Belt Object Colors [PDF]
The Kuiper belt region of the solar system, stretching from 30 to at least 50 AU, contains Pluto-Charon, some ∼105 Kuiper belt objects (KBOs) larger than 100 km in diameter, and myriad smaller bodies produced by collisions among KBOs (Farinella, Davis, &
