Prepubic Tendon Rupture and Uterine Herniation in a Late‐Term Kurdish Mare: A Case Report
Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.A 14‐year‐old late‐term Kurdish mare presented with acute ventral distension, cranial displacement of the udder and reluctance to walk. Ultrasonography revealed a viable foetus and complete prepubic tendon rupture, leading to abdominal wall failure and severe ventral oedema.
