The universality of degrees of l-functions of elliptic curves
Let E be an elliptic non-singular curve over the field of rational numbers Q defined by the Weierstrass equation y2 = x3 + ax+ b, a, b ∈ Z. Let us denote by Δ = –16(4a3 + 27b2) the discriminant of the curve E. For each prime p let us mark the number of solutions of congruence y2 = x3 + ax+ b(mod p) v(p) and let λ(p) = p – v(p).

Reduction of L-functions of Elliptic Curves Modulo Integers
Let $\mathbb{F}_q$ be a finite field of size $q$, where $q$ is a power of a prime $p \geq 5$. Let $C$ be a smooth, proper, and geometrically connected curve over $\mathbb{F}_q$. Consider an elliptic curve $E$ over the function field $K$ of $C$ with nonconstant $j$-invariant.

The functional independence of the powers of L-functions of elliptic curves
Elliptic curves are one of the most important objects in algebraic geometry and, in general, in mathematics. The theory of elliptic curves is rather complicated and wattled by many conjectures. On the other hand, the elliptic curves have many practical applications, for example, in cryptography, in factoring of positive integers and in primality ...

Value at 2 of the L-function of an elliptic curve
We study the special value at 2 of L-functions of modular forms of weight 2 on congruence subgroups of the modular group. We prove an explicit version of Beilinson's theorem for the modular curve X_1(N). When N is prime, we deduce that the target space of Beilinson's regulator map is generated by the images of Milnor symbols associated to modular units

L-function of CM elliptic curves and generalized hypergeometric functions
In this paper, we express special values of the L-functions of certain CM elliptic curves which are related to Fermat curves in terms of the special values of generalized hypergeometric functions by comparing Bloch’s element with Ross’s element in the motivic cohomology group.
