Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

An Empirical Scaling of theThermal Diffusivity Applicable to Both L-and H-Mode Discharges
An empirical scaling of the thermal diffusivity has been constructed which fits well with most of the key observations of steady-state heat transport in tokamaks.

Theory of pseudoclassical confinement and transition to L mode
"A theory of the self-sustained turbulence is developed for resistive plasma in toroidal devices. Pseudoclassical confinement is obtained in the low-temperature limit. As temperature increases, the current diffusivity prevails upon resistivity, and the turbulence nature changes so as to recover the L-mode transport.

Heuristics and Biases in Travel Mode Choice [PDF]
This study applies experimental methods to analyze travel mode choice. Two different scenarios are considered. In the first scenario, subjects have to decide whether to commute by car or by metro.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Experimental study on a diode-pumped passively mode-locking Nd : GdVO4/SESAM laser
We demonstrate a low-threshold and efficient diode-pumped passively continuous wave (CW) mode-locked Nd:GdVO4 laser with a reflective semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM).

Protein aggregates threaten proteostasis and cell health. In human cells, Hsp70–J‐domain protein‐based disaggregases remove aggregates, but how they assemble remains unclear. Our biochemical findings show that DNAJA2‐ and DNAJB1‐containing disaggregase scaffolds enhance luciferase aggregate targeting, and that Hsp70 recruitment by both J‐domain ...
