Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Dez Basin Flood Frequency Analysis [PDF]
In this research, from data of 26 hydrometric station records and l-moment approach, regional and stational flood frequency of Dez basin was analyzed. For identifying homogeneous regions, Ward hierarchical cluster method was used.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Investigation on bending moment capacity of corner joints constructed with spline under diagonal tension and compression [PDF]
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of the penetration depths (8, 11, 14) and material types of spline (high density fiber board (HDF), plywood and hornbeam wood (Carpinus betulus)) composite material types (MDF and particleboard) on bending

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

L-MOMENT RATIO MAPS OF ANNUAL PEAK FLOWS IN TURKISH RIVERS
This study aims to estimate the probability distribution for peak flows using L-moment ratio maps for a study area without any flow measurements. In flood frequency analysis, the determination of an acceptable design criterion depends mostly on the ...

Annual maximum exchange rate in southeast asia based on methods of l-moment and maximum likelihood [PDF]
The main objective of this study is to determine the best fitting distribution to describe the annual series of maximum daily exchange rate from 1993 to 2013 for 4 countries in Southeast Asia based on L-moment and Maximum Likelihood (ML).

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
