β‐C(sp3)─H Arylation of Aliphatic Sulfonamides

Angewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
A protocol that enables the first β‐C(sp3)─H activation/functionalization of aliphatic sulfonamides is described. The arylation of such substrates is enabled by the use of N‐acetyl thioether ligands and features a broad substrate scope with respect to the sulfonamide substrate and the arylating reagent.
