DNA barcoding and geometric morphometry of tabanid flies (Diptera: Tabanidae) in Thailand and a new record of a Thai horse fly

open access: yesMedical and Veterinary Entomology, EarlyView.
Tabanus tenens identified in this study is a newly recorded species in Thailand. DNA barcoding using the cox1 gene identified tabanid species in the present study. WGM data from different sites served as a reference for species identification. Abstract Tabanid flies are gaining high medical and veterinary importance due to their role as a vector of ...

Myeov2 alters L11 subnuclear localization without nucleolar disruption.

open access: yes, 2013
(A) HeLa cells were transfected with Myc-L11, together with either Flag-Myeov2 or Flag- Myeov2ΔFD plasmids, and subjected to immunocytochemistry. Arrows and arrowheads indicate Myeov2-expressing and control cells, respectively. Scale bar, 20 µm.

Structural determinants of re‐entrant drivers in atrial fibrillation: insights from digital twins derived from 3D micrometre‐resolution imaging of human heart

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Digital heart models of human donor atria with cardiac co‐morbidities revealed that regions with AWT variation, aligned myofibres adjacent to disorganised zones and fibrotic borders promoted the localisation and stability of RDs. AWT had a global influence, whereas fibre orientation and fibrosis exerted chamber‐specific regional ...

Contributions of basic residues to ribosomal protein L11 recognition of RNA

open access: yesJournal of Molecular Biology, 2000
The C-terminal domain of ribosomal protein L11, L11-C76, binds in the distorted minor groove of a helix within a 58 nucleotide domain of 23 S rRNA. To study the electrostatic component of RNA recognition in this protein, arginine and lysine residues have been individually mutated to alanine or methionine residues at the nine sequence positions that are

Real‐World Outcomes of Mycosis Fungoides and Site‐Specific Nodal Involvement: A Registry‐Based Study of 25 467 Patients

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 101, Issue 7, Page 1618-1627, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Mycosis fungoides (MF) is a rare extranodal T‐cell lymphoma with primary cutaneous involvement. While it is the most common primary skin lymphoma, large‐scale real‐world data defining survival benchmarks and the prognostic significance of specific nodal sites remain limited.

Integrated genomic and transcriptomic approaches reveal oxidative stress adaptation mechanisms in a mesotrione‐resistant Amaranthus tuberculatus biotype

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 7, Page 6387-6398, July 2026.
Integrated GWAS and transcriptomics in a Canadian waterhemp biotype reveal mesotrione resistance is polygenic and metabolically driven. Significant SNPs and 187 herbicide‐responsive genes point to enhanced redox homeostasis, glutathione‐linked detoxification, lipid/secondary metabolism, and oxidative stress responses. Resistance arises from coordinated,

Pd‐Catalyzed Cyclotrimerization and Cycloaddition of 5,6‐Didehydrobenzo[8]annulenes (BenzoCOTynes): Formation of Nonplanar Tri[8]annulenes and Diels–Alder Cycloadducts

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 23, 16 June 2026.
A Pd(0)‐catalyzed cyclotrimerization of benzoCOTynes to form tri(benzo[8]annulenes) was developed. Three distinct isomers were isolated and structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Ligand modulation proved crucial for enhancing regioselectivity: P(4‐OMePh), and (S)‐tBu‐Phox promoted the formation of the symmetric isomers.

Ribosomal Protein L11 Negatively Regulates Oncoprotein MDM2 and Mediates a p53-Dependent Ribosomal-Stress Checkpoint Pathway

open access: yes, 2003
The gene encoding p53 mediates a major tumor suppression pathway that is frequently altered in human cancers. p53 function is kept at a low level during normal cell growth and is activated in response to various cellular stresses.

Stabilization of a ribosomal RNA tertiary structure by ribosomal protein L11

open access: yesJournal of Molecular Biology, 1995
Interactions between ribosomal protein L11 and a domain of large subunit rRNA have been highly conserved and are essential for efficient protein synthesis. To study the effects of L11 on rRNA folding, a homolog of the Escherichia coli L11 gene has been amplified from Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA and cloned into a phage T7 polymerase-based expression

Geminale Difunktionalisierung von Ketonen durch C–S Bindungs‐insertion photogenerierter Donor–Donor Diazoverbindungen

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 25, 15 June 2026.
