Piezoelectric Polymers for Energy Harvesting in Transport Infrastructure by Graph‐Based Network Analysis

open access: yesMacromolecular Symposia, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the integration of piezoelectric polymer technology into the transport infrastructure of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest campus. The research combines graph‐theoretical modeling with the implementation of piezoelectric polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) materials embedded within ...

Evaluation of stability for root yield and its attributing traits in ashwagandha [Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding
An experiment to evaluate the stability of Ashwagandha genotypes was conducted during the Rabi season of 2022-23 across three different environments. A significant genotype x environment (G x E) interaction was observed, indicating a strong environmental

Outcrop analogy with the subsurface geology and hydrocarbon prospectivity of Jaintiapur and adjacent areas in North-East Bangladesh

open access: yesJournal of Natural Gas Geoscience, 2023
The availability of hydrocarbons in the eastern part of Bangladesh indicates the presence of active petroleum systems in the Bengal basin. Although extensive research has been conducted in the Surma basin, the correlation between structural configuration,

Intensity correlations and entanglement by frequency doubling in a dual ported resonator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We show that non-classical intensity correlations and quadrature entanglement can be generated by frequency doubling in a resonator with two output ports.

Proteomic Characterization of AS1411 Reveals ATP6AP1 as a Mediator of Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Progression

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer characterized by high metastatic potential, poor prognosis, and limited effective therapeutic options. In this study, we investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying the anticancer effects of the nucleolin (NCL)‐targeting DNA aptamer AS1411 using label‐free ...

EE2 and the Fish Brain: Age‐Dependent Impact of 17α‐Ethinylestradiol on Brain Cell Proliferation and Behavior in Sea Bass Larvae

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Endocrine‐disrupting chemicals (EDCs), such as 17α‐ethinylestradiol (EE2), have raised concerns about their potential effects on aquatic organisms, particularly during early developmental stages. In this context, the study of behavioral disruption has gained considerable attention, as it may have consequences on individual fitness and ...

Az árak mérésének nehézsége, vagy a mérés nehézségének ára? A magyar mobilpiac modellezésének néhány kérdése

open access: yesCompetitio, 2020
A dolgozat a magyar mobilszolgáltatások áraival kapcsolatos kérdéseket vizsgálja. Számba veszi a mérést akadályozó legfontosabb nehézségeket, melyek lényeges dilemma elé állítják a kutatót.

Two-parametric deformation $U_{p,q}[gl(2/1)]$ and its induced representations

open access: yes, 1996
The two-parametric quantum superalgebra $U_{p,q}[gl(2/1)]$ is consistently defined. A construction procedure for induced representations of $U_{p,q}[gl(2/1)]$ is described and allows us to construct explicitly all (typical and nontypical) finite ...

Detecting a stochastic gravitational wave background with the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The random superposition of many weak sources will produce a stochastic background of gravitational waves that may dominate the response of the LISA (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna) gravitational wave observatory.

Genetic differentiation and adaptive evolution of buff‐tailed bumblebees in Asia

open access: yesInsect Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates the genetic differentiation and local adaptation of the buff‐tailed bumblebee (Bombus terrestris) across its European and Asian populations. Using whole‐genome resequencing, we identified distinct genetic differences between populations, with Asian B. terrestris representing a unique genetic resource.
