Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...

Modifications in L2 Requests: A Study on L2 Turkish

open access: yesDil Eğitimi ve Araştırmaları Dergisi
This study aims to enhance understanding of pragmatic development among L2 learners studying the TL in L2 contexts, who interact daily with L1 speakers outside the classroom, navigating pragmatic features and sociocultural norms essential for successful communication. The research investigates the similarities and differences between L2 learners and L1

Physics‐Embedded Neural Network: A Novel Approach to Design Polymeric Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Traditional black‐box models for polymer mechanics rely solely on data and lack physical interpretability. This work presents a physics‐embedded neural network (PENN) that integrates constitutive equations into machine learning. The approach ensures reliable stress predictions, provides interpretable parameters, and enables performance‐driven, inverse ...

Senolytic Therapy as a Preventive Strategy for Spine Degeneration and Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cellular senescence promotes inflammation, tissue degeneration, and chronic back pain. In sparc‐null mice, early oral administration of the senolytic agents o‐vanillin and RG‐7112 reduced senescent cell burden and pro‐inflammatory SASP signaling across intervertebral discs, endplates, vertebral bone, and spinal cord.

International Posture, L2 Motivation, and L2 Proficiency among South Korean Tertiary EFL Learners

open access: yes, 2008
Today, English is spoken by more non-native speakers than native speakers; current estimates by Graddol (2007) indicate five to one. With this transformation English has become the international language of business and intercultural communication.

Cobalt/Photoredox Catalyzed Desymmetrization of Oxo and Azabicycles via Asymmetric Reductive Coupling With Alkynes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A one‐step, asymmetric reductive coupling of alkynes and oxa‐ and aza‐bicyclic olefins using a cobalt/photoredox catalytic system through desymmetrization. ABSTRACT Bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane frameworks represent a privileged structural motif prevalent in numerous natural products and bioactive molecules.
