Al and Cu Oxalates in Li‐Ion Battery Electrolytes: Comparative Observations and Recycling Consequences

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 14, 17 July 2026.
We evaluated Al‐ and Cu‐oxalates as model contaminants in LP30 electrolyte for NMC811‖graphite cells. In vinylene carbonate (VC)‐free electrolytes, cells retain capacity and impedance at maximum oxalate loading; the introduction of VC, however, triggers increased internal resistance, accelerated capacity fade, and Al‐containing surface films.

The process approach to service quality management

open access: yesProduction Engineering Archives, 2018
In this paper a model of service quality management based on the process approach has been presented. The first part of the article contains the theoretical framework of service quality and the process approach in management.

Frontier Advances of Terpyridine–Zn(II) Complexes: From Molecular Design to Smart Functional Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 42, 28 July 2026.
Tpy–Zn complexes serve as versatile building blocks for the modular assembly of functional materials, including polymers, gels, MOFs, cages, and composites through programmed noncovalent interactions, empowering practical applications in visual molecular recognition, smart functional materials, and photocatalytic transformations. ABSTRACT As one of the

Validation of reference genes for gene expression studies in virus-infected Nicotiana benthamiana using quantitative real-time PCR. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
Nicotiana benthamiana is the most widely-used experimental host in plant virology. The recent release of the draft genome sequence for N. benthamiana consolidates its role as a model for plant-pathogen interactions.

Pharmacokinetic‐pharmacodynamic modelling of risankizumab using chronic plaque psoriasis real‐world data

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 92, Issue 7, Page 2136-2146, July 2026.
Abstract Aim Risankizumab is a high‐cost biologic treatment for chronic plaque psoriasis, an immune‐mediated inflammatory disease presenting with painful red scaly skin lesions. Inter‐individual heterogeneity in treatment response may be better addressed with personalised rather than fixed dosing. We sought to develop a pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (

Developing medication independence: The experience of UK teenagers

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 92, Issue 7, Page 2127-2135, July 2026.
Aims There is a progression through childhood from being provided medications by caregivers to having to take responsibility for medications yourself, but little is known about when the transition of adolescents managing medicines begins. The aim of this study was to obtain a cross‐sectional sample of UK adolescents and when they become independent ...

The period ratio for kink and sausage modes in a magnetic slab [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A75 article numberAims. Increasing observational evidence of wave modes in the solar corona brings us to a closer understanding of that medium. Coronal seismology allows us to combine wave observations and theory to determine otherwise unknown parameters.

Additional file 10 of Transcriptomic study of pedicels from GA3-treated table grape genotypes with different susceptibility to berry drop reveals responses elicited in cell wall yield, primary growth and phenylpropanoids synthesis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Additional file 10: Figure S6. Mapman figure of DE genes from L23. Mapping of differentially expressed genes from L23 genotype under GA treatment condition is significantly related to promotion of cell wall-related processes.

Constraining Sources of Mid‐Pleistocene to Present Explosive Volcanism in the Gulf of Alaska Using Machine Learning and Compositional Data Analysis

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract The long‐term eruptive record of a region helps better elucidate magmatic processes at depth as well as volcanic hazards at the surface. Typically, reconstructing such records is done using proximal tephrostratigraphy and linking individual tephras to source volcanoes. These records, however, can only be accurately constructed if they are both
