B cell associated monoclonal antibody L26 may occasionally label T cell lymphomas
Apmis, 1989Monoclonal antibody L26 has been shown to be a very sensitive marker for B lymphocytes in formalin‐fixed, paraffin‐embedded tissue. Most studies have found that the antibody is also highly specific for B cells, although a few examples of L26‐positive T cell lymphoma (TCL) have been reported.

L26 The Role Of Occupational Therapy In Huntington's Disease
Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry, 2014Background We discuss the role of the occupational therapist working with individuals and families affected by Huntington’s disease. Objectives A research by purposes was carried out through the design and implementation of an intervention program aimed at preventing and alleviating the deterioration caused by the disease through training in daily ...

The immune enhancing properties of Lactobacillus acidophilus LAFTI L10 and Lactobacillus paracasei LAFTI L26 in mice were investigated. Each mouse (BALB/c) was orally fed with cultures of either L. acidophilus or L. paracasei at 10(8) CFU/50 mul per day for 14 days.

Novel O-benzylcinnamic acid derivative L26 treats acute lung injury in mice by MD-2
European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2023Acute lung injury (ALI) is an inflammation-mediated respiratory disease that is associated with a high mortality rate. In this study, a series of novel O-benzylcinnamic acid derivatives were designed and synthesized using cinnamic acid as the lead compound. We tested the preliminary anti-inflammatory activity of the compounds by evaluating their effect

The Clinical Relevance of L26, a B-Cell-Specific Antibody, in Hodgkinʼs Disease
American Journal of Clinical Oncology, 1994Although Reed-Sternberg cells and their variants (RS/V) in most cases of Hodgkin's disease (HD) lack lymphocyte-associated antigens, some cases of HD, particularly nodular lymphocyte-predominant HD (NLPHD), contain RS/V cells that appear to be of B-cell origin. This study was designed to test whether differences in clinical presentation and therapeutic

Transcription pattern of ribosomal protein L26 during anoxia exposure in Littorina littorea
Journal of Experimental Zoology, 2001AbstractDifferential screening of a hepatopancreas cDNA library derived from the marine snail Littorina littorea yielded a 421‐bp clone coding for ribosomal protein L26 that was up‐regulated during anoxia exposure. The deduced amino acid sequence, containing 144 residues with a predicted molecular weight of 17 kDa, showed 80% amino acid sequence ...

This study aimed to develop methods for the detection of the probiotic Lactobacillus casei LAFTI L26 (L26) from mouse faeces, and to determine the survival and retention time of L26 in the mouse gastrointestinal tract.A selective medium, de Man Rogosa Sharpe (MRS) + bromocresol green + vancomycin (MGV), was designed for the isolation and enumeration of

Background Although Huntington’s disease (HD) affects multiple brain areas it has a disproportionate and early effect on the striatal medium spiny neurons (MSNs). Transplantation of developing rat MSNs, derived from embryonic day 14 (E14) whole ganglionic eminence (WGE), into a rodent lesion models of HD results in grafts that integrate into the host ...
