High‐Gain Ag2Te/MoS2 Hybrid Photodetectors for Short‐Wave Infrared Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A precision‐engineered short‐wave infrared image sensor based on a 0D/2D Ag2Te/MoS2 hybrid structure is demonstrated in this work. The device exploits photodoping at the nanoscale interface to achieve broadband detection from visible to infrared wavelengths with high responsivity and fast response.

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Students smarter than teachers? Gen Z EFL student perceptions of English pronunciation learning and teaching

open access: yesEuroAmerican Journal of Applied Linguistics and Languages
Generation Z L2 learners, who are immersed in English audiovisual content from an early age, might feel more comfortable with the pronunciation of English than their Generation X or Millennial non-native EFL teachers.

Hydro‐Torsional Compaction for Scalable Production of Aramid Nanofiber Threads with Densely Assembled Double‐Helical Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This paper introduces a scalable strategy for producing hierarchically aligned PBDT threads through wet‐spinning, controlled drawing, and post‐spinning twisting. Ionic crosslinking reinforces structural stability, whereas alignment and twisting optimize mechanical performance.

Simultaneous H2O:O2 Co‐Reactant Pulsing for Functional Property Control of Atomic Layer Deposited ZnO, TiO2, and Al2O3 Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Simultaneous H2O:O2 co‐pulsing in thermal ALD modulates surface hydroxylation to engineer nanovoids and properties in ZnO, TiO2, and Al2O3. The ligand‑dependent pathway promotes c‑axis‑textured ZnO, reduced‑crystallinity yet Ti4+‑preserved TiO2, and highly transparent, hydrophilic Al2O3, while lowering the refractive indices.

Native-speakerism and professional teacher identity in L2 pronunciation learning

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics, 2019
Many studies in different contexts have examined both English as a second language (ESL) and English as a foreign language (EFL) students’ convictions about the connection between nativeness in English and professional teacher identity; however, very few

Direct Laser Writing of Magnetic Micro Actuators With a Stimulus‐Responsive Compliant Hinge

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study presents a versatile modular design strategy for adaptive 3D microactuators. Using two‐photon‐induced C,H insertion reactions within solid polymer layers, chemically distinct hinge and stimulus responsive materials are patterned in one step. The hinge's properties enable tunable motion, mechanical control, and reconfigurable actuation across
