Genetic Dwarfness in Camellia L.1
Abstract Nine dwarf seedlings among 34 arose from interspecific hybridization between Camellia sasanqua Thunb (Plant Introduction 319285) and C. oleifera Abel (Plant Introduction 162561). One dwarf plant flowered and appears to have potential horticultural value.

Based on a dermis fibroblast Gorab knockout mouse model, this study revealed that Gorab deficiency promotes skin aging by influencing RCHY1, causing a decrease in P53 ubiquitination, damaging the activity of HDAC2, further resulting in the accumulation of aging‐related proteins (P53, P21, P16) and a reduction in extracellular matrix (ECM) components ...

A Patchy Cloud Model for the L to T Dwarf Transition
One of the mechanisms suggested for the L to T dwarf spectral type transition is the appearance of relatively cloud-free regions across the disk of brown dwarfs as they cool.

Abstract Premise As the sister clade to angiosperms, extant gymnosperms are crucial for reconstructing ancestral gene regulatory networks in seed plants. This highlights the need for model systems representing each of their distinct lineages. However, tools to quickly and effectively investigate gene function in gymnosperms are still limited due to the

Identifying and Characterizing Very Low-mass Spectral Blend Binaries with Machine Learning Methods
We present an approach to identifying and characterizing unresolved, very low mass spectral blend binaries composed of late M, L, and T dwarfs using machine learning methodologies.

The Brown Dwarf Kinematics Project I. Proper motions and tangential velocities for a large sample of late-type M, L, and T dwarfs [PDF]
We report proper-motion measurements for 427 late-type M, L, and T dwarfs, 332 of which have been measured for the first time. Combining these new proper motions with previously published measurements yields a sample of 841 M7-T8 dwarfs.

Domestic rabbits of different body sizes differ disproportionately in the length of their tooth row or the length of their diastema. Abstract In various domestic mammals, smaller breeds tend to have proportionally larger teeth, whereas this is not a universal trend across mammals.

UNCOVER: JWST Spectroscopy of Three Cold Brown Dwarfs at Kiloparsec-scale Distances
We report JWST/NIRSpec spectra of three distant T-type brown dwarfs identified in the Ultradeep NIRSpec and NIRCam ObserVations before the Epoch of Reionization (UNCOVER) survey of the Abell 2744 lensing field.

Abstract Analysis of the variation in the bony structures of the inner and middle ear provides critical insights into functional morphology, as well as adaptive morphology across primates. In this study, we investigated whether ear morphology patterns are related to the ecological characteristics of species and their habitats to test two acoustic ...
