Primeval very low-mass stars and brown dwarfs – VI. Population properties of metal-poor degenerate brown dwarfs [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2019
We presented 15 new T dwarfs that were selected from UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey, Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy , and Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer surveys, and confirmed with optical to near-infrared spectra obtained ...

Very Cool L-Dwarfs

Science, 2000
ASTRONOMY Dwarfs are low mass, very cool, main-sequence stars, and recent large-scale star surveys have identified a new spectral class, called the L-dwarfs. The low estimated masses of L-dwarfs suggest that most of these objects are brown dwarfs that are rich in hydrides rather than methane. McLean et al. have obtained high-resolution spectra of six L-

Dwarfing in the raspberry, Rubus idaeus L.

Euphytica, 1969
Six phenotypically distinct dwarfs of the raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) are described; two of them are digenic, ‘sturdy dwarf’ being D 1d1d2d2or d 1d1d2d2and ‘crumpled dwarf’ d 3d3d4d4. Jennings' (1967) dwdw dwarf appears to be phenotypically and genotypically identical with the digenic ‘sturdy’.
