Targeting Delivery of Cyanidin‐Loaded With Ti3C2 Nanosheets for Alleviating Vascular Calcification in Chronic Kidney Disease

open access: yesMedComm – Biomaterials and Applications, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
Vascular calcification significantly elevates cardiovascular risk in CKD patients, yet no effective therapies exist to halt its progression. We developed a dual targeting nanoplatform Ti3C2/RANKL/OCN/Cyanidin (TROC) for the targeted delivery of cyanidin against vascular calcification.

A Combined Model‐Based Meta‐Analysis of Aggregated and Individual FEV1 Data From Randomized COPD Trials

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Model‐based meta‐analysis allows integration of aggregated‐level data (AD) from different clinical trials in one model to assess population efficacy/safety. However, AD is limited in individual‐level information, while individual‐patient‐level data (IPD) are hard to obtain. Combined modeling may take advantage of both sources.

Efficacy of pharmacological and non‐pharmacological interventions for pre‐operative anxiety: a systematic review with network meta‐analysis of randomised clinical trials

open access: yesAnaesthesia Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, January/June 2026.
Summary Pre‐operative anxiety is distressing for patients and is associated with peri‐operative complications, yet the relative effectiveness of available pharmacological and non‐pharmacological interventions remains unclear. We conducted a systematic review with network meta‐analysis to compare anxiolytic strategies in the pre‐operative setting.

On Emerging British‐Latinx Art: The Case of Art Ubicua

open access: yesBulletin of Latin American Research, Volume 45, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT The historicisation of Latinx art has been consolidated as a field of study in the United States. While categorising art by specific communities or geographic regions can sometimes marginalise artists, such classifications have also opened up opportunities in spaces that might otherwise remain exclusive and inaccessible.

Real‐World Antithrombotic Management of Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation in Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in China: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesCardiovascular Therapeutics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Antithrombotic therapy in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is clinically challenging, with real‐world strategies often remaining inconsistent. This study analyzed 2020 annual data from the Shanghai Cardiac Intervention Quality Control Center, encompassing 23,115 patients who ...

Impact of Pulsed‐Field Ablation on the Left Atrial Appendage Diameter—Insights From Intra‐Procedural Echocardiography

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 36, Issue 12, Page 3149-3155, December 2025.
Impact of pulsed‐field ablation on the left atrial appendage diameter ABSTRACT Introduction Concomitant pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) and left atrial appendage (LAA) occlusion (LAAO) have become frequently used therapies. Pulsed‐field ablation (PFA), will likely be used for combined PVI plus LAAO procedures.

Comparing Effectiveness and Safety of Left Atrial Appendage Closure Devices: A Network Meta‐Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 48, Issue 11, November 2025.
In this network meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials comparing Watchman, Amplatzer Amulet, and/or anticoagulation, we found evidence that Amulet was associated with significantly greater risk of pericardial effusion than Watchman (RR = 2.12). Safety and effectiveness of these devices were otherwise comparatively similar.

Impact of Immunosuppressive Drugs on Patients With Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Volume 36, Issue 11, Page 2979-2989, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction Percutaneous left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) reduces the risk of thromboembolic stroke in patients with non‐valvular atrial fibrillation who cannot tolerate long‐term oral anticoagulation. However, outcomes after LAAC in patients requiring chronic immunosuppressive therapy (IMS) remain unknown. This study aimed to investigate
