Compartmentalized 3D Tissue Culture Arrays under Controlled Microfluidic Delivery
We demonstrate an in vitro microfluidic cell culture platform that consists of periodic 3D hydrogel compartments with controllable shapes. The microchip is composed of approximately 500 discontinuous collagen gel compartments locally patterned in between

The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

Design and Development of Microfluidic Lab-On-Chip Bioimpedance Analyzer [PDF]
Impedance analysis for biological samples has proved to be one of the most powerful non-invasive techniques developed so far, for understanding the electrophysiological properties of the tissues.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Simulation of magnetic active polymers for versatile microfluidic devices [PDF]
We propose to use a compound of magnetic nanoparticles (20-100 nm) embedded in a flexible polymer (Polydimethylsiloxane PDMS) to filter circulating tumor cells (CTCs).

DCDC PUF an enhanced implementation of ring oscillator based PUF
The Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is a security mechanism that generates secret keys by capitalizing on inherent physical variations in a device to produce a distinctive response. Given the prevalent incorporation of power management units (PMUs) in

Ruthenium Oxide Nanorods as Potentiometric pH Sensor for Organs-On-Chip Purposes
A ruthenium oxide (RuOx) sensor for potentiometric pH sensing is currently being developed for organs-on-chip purposes. The sensor was fabricated from a Ru(OH)3 precursor, resulting in RuOx nanorods after heating.
