Patient setup variation on Elekta Unity and its impact on adaptive planning

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose The unique design of the MR‐linac may restrict the use of effective immobilization devices, resulting in significant patient setup variations (PSVs). The purpose of this study is to analyze the PSVs on the Elekta Unity system and investigate their impact on adaptive planning.

Review of the application of dual‐energy CT combined with radiomics in the diagnosis and analysis of lung cancer

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world. Early detection and precise treatment are of great significance to clinical decision‐making and patient prognosis. As an emerging imaging technology, dual‐energy computed tomography (DECT) has increasingly prominent advantages in multi‐parameter and quantitative analysis in ...

Speeding Up Graph Algorithms via Switching Classes [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
Given a graph $G$, a vertex switch of $v \in V(G)$ results in a new graph where neighbors of $v$ become nonneighbors and vice versa. This operation gives rise to an equivalence relation over the set of labeled digraphs on $n$ vertices. The equivalence class of $G$ with respect to the switching operation is commonly referred to as $G$'s switching class.

A systematic review of electron FLASH dosimetry and beam control mechanisms utilized with modified non‐clinical LINACs

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background FLASH has been shown to spare normal tissue toxicity while maintaining tumor control. However, existing irradiation platforms and dosimetry are not compatible. Consequently, an abundance of FLASH delivery devices and new dosimetry across all modalities has been created.

Traffic characteristics analysis in optical burst switching networks with optical label processing

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 2007
An analysis is carried out with burst-switching optical networks which use label processing consisting of orthogonal optical codes (OOC), considering traffic characteristics such as length/duration and arrival rate of bursts.

Study of FEC at edge node of optical code label switching network

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2012
The structure block of the optical code label switching network was built, and the design scheme for the forwarding equivalent classes (FEC)was proposed employing OCDM technology which was appropriate for variable packets transmission and allow the label ...

Associations of Cerebrospinal Fluid Orexin‐A, Alzheimer Disease Biomarkers, and Cognitive Performance

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACTObjectiveCerebrospinal fluid (CSF) orexin‐A has been suggested to be a biomarker of Alzheimer disease (AD). In both cognitively unimpaired healthy older adults and individuals with symptomatic AD, CSF orexin‐A is positively associated with CSF Aβ42, p‐tau181, and total tau (t‐tau) concentrations.

Importance sampling schemes for evidence approximation in mixture models

open access: yes, 2014
The marginal likelihood is a central tool for drawing Bayesian inference about the number of components in mixture models. It is often approximated since the exact form is unavailable.

Reconstitution of CXCR3+ CCR6+ Th17.1‐Like T Cells in Response to Ofatumumab Therapy in Patients With Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Ofatumumab, a fully human anti‐CD20 monoclonal antibody, is effective in reducing relapses and disability progression in patients with multiple sclerosis. This study aimed to examine immune profile changes associated with ofatumumab in a prospective cohort of Chinese patients with relapsing–remitting multiple ...
