MIGRATORY THREATS TO NATIONAL SECURITY OF UKRAINE: CURRENT CHALLENGES AND WAYS OF REGULATION

open access: yesBaltic Journal of Economic Studies, 2016
The purpose of the article is to disclose the migratory threats which are connected with external and mass internal inter-regional migrations, which are caused by the annexation of the Crimea and military aggression in Donbas by Russia.

Critical Role of Polymer Gate Dielectrics on the Charge Carrier Transport in Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Charge transport in 2D tin perovskite FETs is shown to be governed by dielectric interface behavior. Polar polymer dielectrics induce dipolar disorder that localizes carriers, whereas nonpolar polymers suppress trapping and enable superior charge transport, ensuring stable and reliable transistor operation. ABSTRACT Understanding the role of interfaces

Understanding Rural Change: Mobilities, Diversities, and Hybridizations

open access: yesSociální studia, 2016
Rural areas have experienced dramatic changes since the turn of the century, which has made it necessary to theorize their increasing diversity (exurban residential sprawl, international flows of labour, return migrations, neorurals, rural second homes ...

Labour and Migration

open access: yes, 2017
Abstract This chapter provides an overview of the characteristics of households with a migrant away, and analyses the effects of migration in Viet Nam, on the basis of the VARHS conducted in 2012 and 2014. The data reveal significant movements of household members, both intra- and inter-province. Differences are uncovered between sending

Cross‐Layer Molecular Design for Coherent Interface Passivation in Rigid and Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A cross‐layer passivation strategy employing molecularly designed thiazol‐5‐ylmethanamine hydrochloride (TMACl) enables coherent defect regulation at the SnO2/perovskite interface, stabilizes both layers, promotes phase‐pure α‐FAPbI3 formation, and enhances charge extraction, delivering PCEs of 26.44% in rigid and 24.72% in flexible perovskite solar ...

The Bitter Taste of Strawberry Jam: Distortions on Romanian Labour Market beyond 2007 [PDF]

open access: yes
The paper is a contribution at the scientific debate of migration and mobility issues in the context of an enlarged European Union (EU-27). We consider that Romania, a country with a labour market that faces distortions, will benefit from migration on ...

Graphene Nanosheet‐Based Mixed Proton‐Electron Conducting Membranes for Efficient Hydrogen Purification

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A monolayer graphene/phosphoric‐acid mixed proton‐electron conducting membrane combines proton‐conducting nanoconfined acid channels with electron‐conducting graphene nanosheets for efficient high‐temperature hydrogen purification. The membrane achieves nearly 100% H2/CO2 selectivity and 69 GPU hydrogen permeance at 250°C, arising from synergistic ...

Were Spanish migrants attracted by industrial agglomerations? An analysis for the interwar years in the light of the new economic geography [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we examine whether access to markets had a significant influence on migration choices of Spanish internal migrants in the inter-war years. We perform a structural contrast of a New Economic Geography model that focus on the forward linkage ...

Structural and Chemical Engineering of Sub‐Nanochannel Membranes Toward Ion Selectivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent advances in structural and chemical engineering of sub‐nanochannels for ion selectivity. We first introduce fundamental ion transport mechanisms within sub‐nanochannels, followed by strategies to tune pore size, geometry, and surface functionalities, categorized into charge‐based, ion‐recognition, hydrophilic bonding, and ...
