Rigidity and Non-recurrence along Sequences
Two properties of a dynamical system, rigidity and non-recurrence, are examined in detail. The ultimate aim is to characterize the sequences along which these properties do or do not occur for different classes of transformations.

Extremal discrepancy behavior of lacunary sequences [PDF]
In 1975 Walter Philipp proved the law of the iterated logarithm (LIL) for the discrepancy of lacunary sequences: for any sequence $(n_k)_{k \geq 1}$ satisfying the Hadamard gap condition $n_{k+1} / n_k \geq q > 1,~k \geq 1,$ we have $$ \frac{1}{4 \sqrt{2}} \leq \limsup_{N \to \infty} \frac{N D_N(\{ n_1 x \}, \dots, \{n_N x\})}{\sqrt{2 N \log \log N}}

The peroxo‐di‐cerium(IV)‐di‐lithium‐containing 32‐tungsto‐4‐phosphate [(CeIV2O2)Li2(P2W16O59)2]16− (Ce2Li2P4W32) is synthesized and structurally characterized. This peroxo‐polyanion demonstrates remarkable stability in solution across a broad pH range.

Lacunary strong A -convergence sequence spaces defined by a sequence of moduli
The definition of lacunary strong A-convergence to a modulus is extended to a definition of lacunary strong A -convergence with respect to a sequence of moduli.

Graphical small cancellation groups with the Haagerup property [PDF]
We prove the Haagerup property (= Gromov's a-T-menability) for finitely generated groups defined by infinite presentations satisfying the graphical C'(lambda)-small cancellation condition with respect to graphs endowed with a compatible wall structure ...

Non-recurrence sets for weakly mixing linear dynamical systems
We study non-recurrence sets for weakly mixing dynamical systems by using linear dynamical systems. These are systems consisting of a bounded linear operator acting on a separable complex Banach space X, which becomes a probability space when endowed ...

The article evaluates polyoxometalate–ionic liquids (POM–ILs) as biocidal agents against lampenflora in the UNESCO‐listed Pommery Champagne cellar. POM–ILs effectively inhibit microbial colonization over one year with minimal visual impact and outperform the commercial biocide Preventol RI80.

The notion of the α th order Δim - lacunary statistical convergence and α th order lacunary strongly (Δim, p)-summable sequences was introduced by Altınok et al. [1].
