Abstract:  Type 1 diabetes may occur at any age, in young individuals before or after adolescence, during middle age life, or even in the elderly. When diagnosed in adults it is characterized by the presence of islet cell‐related autoantibodies (ICA), in particular GAD and IA2 (less common) and very rarely insulin autoantibodies (IAA).

This paper presents a formalism, LADA, aimed especially at the description of systems and situations which arise during the design and analysis of groupware. Latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA) genetic determination was studied. It has been shown that LADA is genetically independent diabetes mellitus clinical form. Its heredity predisposition is described by polygene threshold model. In this model the genetic factors play the essential role and there are non-linear genetic interactions.
