Investigating defense interpretation depth using lag sequential analysis

open access: yesArchives of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, 2018
Aim of the studyThis study investigated the association between therapist interventions and patient defensive functioning in low-alliance and high-alliance sessions over the course of short-term dynamic psychotherapy (STDP) (n= 22).Subject or material and methodsLag sequential analysis was used to determine if there were predictable sequences of ...

A FORTRAN program for lag sequential analysis of contingency and cyclicity in behavioral interaction data [PDF]

open access: yesBehavior Research Methods & Instrumentation, 1979
One method for identifying contingency relationships in a sequence of observed behaviors studies occurrences of matching behaviors at successive event or time steps from a criterion event. This paper briefly summarizes the method and presents a computer program for generating lag conditional probabilities and associated measures for assessing ...

Short-Chain and Unsaturated Fatty Acids Increase Sequentially From the Lag Phase During Cold Growth of Bacillus cereus

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2021
Fatty acids of two mesophilic and one psychrotrophic strains of the foodborne pathogen Bacillus cereus were analyzed by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry during growth at cold (10 and 12°C) vs.

Observational Analysis of the Organization of On-Task Behavior in the Classroom Using Complementary Data Analysis

open access: yesAnales de Psicologia, 2017
The aim of this study was to analyze the organization of on-task behavior in the classroom. Four observational methodology techniques- T-pattern detection, lag sequential analysis, trend analysis, and polar coordinate analysis-were used to study the ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Dialogic interactions and student agency: a mixed-methods analysis of a Chinese primary school classroom guided by knowledge-building principles

open access: yesCogent Education
This study investigates the interaction patterns within a primary school classroom in China that was designed around knowledge-building principles. While knowledge-building pedagogy has been extensively studied in Western contexts, its implementation in ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
