Barycentric Lagrange Interpolation [PDF]
Summary: Barycentric interpolation is a variant of Lagrange polynomial interpolation that is fast and stable. It deserves to be known as the standard method of polynomial interpolation.

The Lagrange spectrum of a Veech surface has a Hall ray [PDF]
We study Lagrange spectra of Veech translation surfaces, which are a generalization of the classical Lagrange spectrum. We show that any such Lagrange spectrum contains a Hall ray.

Numerical aspects of two coupled harmonic oscillators
In this study an interesting symmetric linear system is considered. As a first step we obtain the Lagrangian of the system. Secondly, we derive the classical Euler- Lagrange equations of the system.

L’Exposition universelle de 1900 et les apories d’une « école italienne »
If Paris World’s Fairs had been the theatre of disapprovals towards the Italian artistic scene, critics blaming his decadence or his perverted cosmopolitism, 1900 World’s Fair begin, with his “Italian Palace”, a renewal taking his roots in Italian ...

Covid‑19, réseaux sociaux et culture pop dans la péninsule Arabique
The pandemic crisis which has befallen the world since February 2020 generated, in the Arabian Peninsula as elsewhere, an abundance of media productions: songs, poems, jokes, memes, video skits, etc.

Comparison of different exoplanet mass detection limit methods using a sample of main-sequence intermediate-type stars [PDF]
The radial velocity (RV) technique is a powerful tool for detecting extrasolar planets and deriving mass detection limits that are useful for constraining planet pulsations and formation models. Detection limit methods must take into account the temporal

The Euler-Lagrange expression and degenerate lagrange densities [PDF]
It is well known that many of the field equations from theoretical physics (e.g. Einstein field equations, Maxwell's equations, Klein-Gordon equation) can be obtained from a variational principle with a suitably chosen Lagrange density. In the case of the Einstein equations the corresponding Lagrangian is degenerate (i.e., the associated Euler-Lagrange
