Lagrangian spheres in Del Pezzo surfaces

open access: yes, 2010
Lagrangian spheres in the symplectic Del Pezzo surfaces arising as blow-ups of the complex projective plane in 4 or fewer points are classified up to Lagrangian isotopy.

Geophysical Investigations at the Artemision at Amarynthos of Euboea (Greece)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A combination of resistivity mapping and three‐dimensional electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) was used to investigate the subsurface of the sanctuary of Artemis Amarysia in Amarynthos, Euboea (Greece), an area where archaeological remains from the Bronze Age to the post‐Byzantine period are preserved.

Continuous spin gauge field in (A)dS space

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
Totally symmetric continuous spin field propagating in (A)dS is studied. Lagrangian gauge invariant formulation for such field is developed. Lagrangian of continuous spin field is constructed in terms of double traceless tensor fields, while gauge ...

Wearable exoskeleton robot control using radial basis function‐based fixed‐time terminal sliding mode with prescribed performance

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper tackles the problem of robust and accurate fixed‐time tracking in human–robot interaction and deals with uncertainties. This work introduces a control approach for a wearable exoskeleton designed specifically for rehabilitation tasks.

Two-Dimensional Hydrodynamics as a Class of Special Hamiltonian Systems

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
The paper defines a class of Hamiltonian systems whose phase flows are exact solutions of the two-dimensional hydrodynamics of an incompressible fluid. The properties of this class are considered.

The Symmetries of Equivalent Lagrangian Systems and Constants of Motion [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2011
In this paper Mathematical structure of time-dependent Lagrangian systems and their symmetries are extended and the explicit relation between constants of motion and infinitesimal symmetries of time-dependent Lagrangian systems are considered.

Impact of Financial Development on the Circular Economy: Empirical Evidence From the European Union

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the context of growing environmental degradation and unsustainable resource use, the transition to a circular economy (CE) has become central to policy and academic discourse. While financial development is increasingly recognized as a potential enabler of sustainability, its empirical linkage to CE outcomes remains underexplored.

Stabilization of mechanical systems using controlled Lagrangians [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We propose an algorithmic approach to stabilization of Lagrangian systems. The first step involves making admissible modifications to the Lagrangian for the uncontrolled system, thereby constructing what we call the controlled Lagrangian.

White Phosphorus Activation with Cobalt–Zinc Complexes: Access to Phosphorus‐Rich Sandwich Compounds

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
Heterometallic complexes showcasing Co–Zn interactions have been synthesized through straightforward salt metathesis methods. Their reaction with white phosphorus yields a dimeric sandwich complex containing bridging P2 units. A stepwise mechanism for its formation is proposed, supported by the isolation of intermediates.
