Motional frequency shifts of trapped ions in the Lamb-Dicke regime
First order Doppler effects are usually ignored in laser driven trapped ions when the recoil frequency is much smaller than the trapping frequency (Lamb-Dicke regime).

A 3D biomimetic OS model was developed by bioprinting an OS‐cell‐derived dECM‐enriched bioink with OS spheroids incorporated. The model showed upregulation of known OS prognostic markers and increased resistance to doxorubicin, compared to 2D cultures and scaffold‐free spheroids, making this a more clinically relevant platform for drug discovery ...

Immunostimulatory activity of inactivated environmental Bacillus isolates and their endospores
The spore-forming capacity of Bacillus spp. enables environmental persistence and stable product formulations, yet the interactions of environmental Bacillus spores and vegetative cells with the human immune system are not fully understood.

This study demonstrates a self‐assembly process to generate free‐standing piezoelectric nanomembranes, forming ultracompact microtubular acoustic wave sensors and actuators. The miniaturized 3D piezoelectric platform reported in this work can be applied in telecommunication, energy harvesting, and acoustofluidics. Moreover, the 3D self‐assembly can add

Lactobacillus crispatus is a dominant member of the healthy vaginal microbiota, yet the mechanisms by which it modulates host immunity remain poorly defined, in part due to the lack of tractable in vivo models.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Nuclear Quasi-Elastic Electron Scattering Limits Nucleon Off-Mass Shell Properties [PDF]
The use of quasi-elastic electron nucleus scattering is shown to provide significant constraints on models of the proton electromagnetic form factor of off-shell nucleons.

We present a microfabrication and integration strategy for lead halide perovskite photodetectors on electronic readouts. Standard photolithography, aqueous processing, selective transparent electrode etching, and plasma‐assisted pixel isolation enable precise monolithic integration of patterned 400 × 400 perovskite microphotodetector arrays on a CMOS ...

Summary: We derive an explicit solution representation for the Lamb's problem. The solution formula is given in terms of the fundamental solutions of the d'Alembert wave equations, the Kirchhoff's formula in 3-D and the Hadamard's formula in 2-D, when the Poisson ratio \(\frac{1}{2} \lambda/(\lambda +\mu)\) is less than or equal to a critical value ...
