A flexible micro‐electrocorticography array with PEDOT:SS electrodes is shown to be compatible with ultra‐high magnetic field MRI up to 9.4 T. Multimodal brain monitoring is demonstrated by performing simultaneous blood oxygen level‐dependent functional MRI in parallel with electrophysiology.

An elementary example of contrasting laminar and turbulent flow physics [PDF]
Something as simple as Couette and Poiseuille onedimensional flow of a newtonian fluid between infinite parallel walls provides an illuminating example of the contrasting physics of laminar and turbulent flow: the difference between their mean velocity profiles has in one regime the opposite sign than in the other.

Laminar Flow in a Corrugated Pipe
An analysis is made of steady laminar flow in pipes with axially symmetric and non-symmetric wavy walls. Secondary flow patterns and friction factors are obtained for the case of small amplitude waviness. When kRe (k: the pipe wall wave number, Re: Reynolds number) is large, the adaptation of wall waviness to secondary flow is delayed due to the ...

Time‐Controlled Dual Targeting to Program Systemic and Intercellular Transfer of Therapeutic Effects
Aspirin‐liposomes loaded onto monocytes enable inflammation‐triggered targeting and efficient hand‐over of aspirin to inflamed cells. Monocytes uptake a significant portion of aspirin‐liposomes, prolonging therapeutic action. This approach enhances anti‐inflammatory effects through intercellular transfer, demonstrating a translational strategy for ...

Flight experiences with laminar flow [PDF]
A review of natural laminar flow (NLF) flight experiences over the period from the 1930's to the present has been given to provide information on the achievability and maintainability of NLF in typical airplane operating environments. Significant effects

Silver nanowire‐decorated silicon nanomembrane (AgNW‐SiNM) wireless wearable gas sensor exhibits a high response of ≈1.83 upon exposure to 10 ppm NH3. A stacked structure of the AgNW‐SiNM gas sensor with a flexible Joule heater improves the recovery rate after gas exposure.

Resolvent analysis of compressible laminar and turbulent cavity flows [PDF]
The present work demonstrates the use of resolvent analysis to obtain physical insights for open-cavity flows. Resolvent analysis identifies the flow response to harmonic forcing, given a steady base state, in terms of the response and forcing modes and the amplification gain. The response and forcing modes reveal the spatial structures associated with

Natural laminar flow nacelle for transport aircraft [PDF]
The potential of laminar flow nacelles for reducing installed engine/nacelle drag was studied. The purpose was twofold: to experimentally verify a method for designing laminar flow nacelles and to determine the effect of installation on the extent of ...

Glioblastoma multiforme is the most devastating and incurable brain tumor. To better study this disease, a 3D model is developed using a hyaluronic acid‐based hydrogel combined with a multicellular approach. This model recapitulates in vivo brain stiffness, cell‐extracellular matrix and cell‐cell interactions and the tumor's hijacking function with the
