Dynamic Response of Laminated Composite Plates
AIAA Journal, 1975HE classical method of separation of variables combined with the Mindlin-Goodman procedure1 is employed to analyze the dynamic response of an infinitely long simplysupported composite plate under a uniform dynamic pressure, P0, on the upper surface of the plate.

Plasticity Analysis of Laminated Composite Plates
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1982Elastic-plastic behavior of symmetric metal-matrix composite laminates is analyzed for the case of in-plane mechanical loading. The overall response of the laminate at each instant is derived from the elastic-plastic deformation of the individual fibrous layers, and from their mutual constraints.

Edge Vibrations in Laminated Composite Plates
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1985Plane strain edge vibrations or end modes in laminated composite plates are investigated by means of finite elements. This method is capable of modeling the behavior of any laminate construction whose properties are completely anisotropic within the plane. Two eigenvalue problems involving nonsymmetric matrices are derived.

Review on laminated composite plates
ASPS Conference Proceedings, 2022A composite material is a combination of different material which can be assembled to provide required engineering properties like bending, buckling, stiffness etc. It can give better properties than those of individual components. A lamina is the building block of modern composite laminated structures. A lamina is also known as a ply, or a layer.

Edge Effects in Laminated Composite Plates
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1982The attenuation of self-equilibrated edge stress states into the interior of a laminated plate composed of an arbitrary number of bonded, elastic, anisotropic layers is investigated in the context of Saint-Venant’s principle using the exponential decay results of Toupin, Knowles, and Horgan.

Bending of Laminated Composite Plates
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015In this work, there are presented overviews of theoretical and numerical models for defining the stress-strain state in the cross section of moderately thick and thick composite plates in case of bending. Layered composite plates are constructed by combination of layers of various materials and geometrical characteristics, wherein each of them has got ...
