Assessment of Land-Use and Land-Cover Change in Guangxi, China [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2019
AbstractIt is increasingly acknowledged that land-use and land-cover change has become a key subject that urgently needs to be addressed in the study of global environmental change. In the present study, supported by the long-time-series of land-use and land-cover data from 1990, 2000, and 2017, we used the land-use transition matrix, Markov chain ...

Regional analysis of crop and natural vegetation in West Africa based on NDVI metrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In West Africa, rainfall variability dynamics are often considered as the major driver of vegetation production. Land use shifts have also to be taken into account when analyzing changes in vegetation production.

Buckling‐Driven Linearity in Flexible Capacitive Pressure Sensors Based on a Three‐Dimensional Dual‐Pore Polyurethane Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible pressure sensor utilizing a 3D dual‐pore polyurethane structure is developed to overcome the intrinsic trade‐off between sensitivity and linearity. By inducing sequential buckling through distinct pore sizes and shapes, the device achieves highly linear and sensitive responses across a wide pressure range.
