Modular Assembly of a Biocatalytic Material for Stereoselective C─Si Bond Formation

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A modular, carrier‐free enzyme foam derived from Rhodothermus marinus cytochrome c combines structural stability with catalytic efficiency for stereoselective C─Si bond formation. Streptavidin (STV)‐mediated protein crosslinking creates a robust, self‐supporting materials platform for next‐generation biocatalysis.

Dynamic geo‐hydrogeological monitoring‐driven situational awareness for real‐time floor water inrush risk prediction in deep mining

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
The fused data extracted from the distributed monitoring system as the data basis, combined with dynamic geological data, are imported into a deep learning model. As the geological conditions of mining and excavation change, the risk of water inrush at the working face is retrieved in real time.

Ambiguity‐Aware Receding‐Horizon Optimization of Wind‐Hybrid Energy Storage Systems Using Type‐3 Fuzzy Modeling for Multimarket Participation

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
A Type‐3 fuzzy ambiguity encoder converts rolling wind, price, reserve‐activation, and confidence features into central estimates and nested uncertainty bounds. These parameters are updated within a receding‐horizon MILP/MIQP that coordinates wind, battery, and supercapacitor capacity across day‐ahead and ancillary‐service markets.

Quiet activism as feminist practice

open access: yesFeminist Anthropology, EarlyView.
Abstract In this article, we discuss how women combat silencing in the face of violence and increased political turmoil through quiet activism in their day‐to‐day lives. Centering lengthy conversations with Arab women across London and notes from an ongoing collaboration with a feminist activist based in the US, we examine how wearable rhetorical ...

Triboelectric nanogenerators for vehicle intelligent cockpits

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Converting mechanical stimuli from drivers and vehicle motion into electrical signals, triboelectric nanogenerators provide promising interfaces toward passive, flexible, distributed and intelligent sensing for next‐generation automotive cockpits to support three core functional dimensions: driver state monitoring, vehicle state monitoring, and human ...

Government affiliation and innovation in emerging market firms: The role of international diversification

open access: yesGlobal Strategy Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Research Summary This study examines how international diversification interacts with government affiliation to shape innovation outcomes in emerging market firms. We reconceptualize government affiliation as a resource‐structuring mechanism that varies across hierarchical levels and influences the coherence of firms' dominant logics of ...

Traffic Flow Crystallization Method for Trajectory Approximation and Lane Change Inference

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems
Whereas on many motorways, traffic operations are permanently monitored, and long historical logs of such data exist, they are not directly usable for lane change studies, as they only register local passages and speeds. This study proposes a novel method to transform discrete vehicle passage records of individual vehicle data (IVD) into approximations

Working with goals in youth mental health and substance use service: A review of current practice guidelines and recommendations

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Working with goals is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of youth mental health and addictions care, with the potential to strengthen therapeutic relationships, support shared decision‐making, and improve outcomes. Despite its importance, there is no cohesive, equity‐centered guidance for working with youth on their goals.

Stable isotope analysis of freshwater gastropod carbonates from Swanscombe: Insights into climate stability and seasonality during MIS 11c

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Stable isotope analyses of freshwater mollusc carbonate can record environmental conditions at the time of mineralisation, yet this technique remains underused in British Middle Pleistocene fluvial sequences, despite the abundance of fossil shell material in these deposits.
