Relaxation dynamics of closed diffusive systems with infinitesimal Langmuir kinetics
We consider the asymmetric simple exclusion process with Langmuir kinetics in the closed boundary condition. We analytically obtain the exact stationary state and a series of excited states of the system in the limit where Langmuir kinetics is ...

Catalyst coordination acts as a loaded dice biasing reaction selectivity. Single‐atom site catalysts lock intermediates in exposed configurations, enabling continued hydrogenation and favoring oxygen‐retaining products. In contrast, extended metal surfaces fully coordinate and shield reactive centers, promoting deoxygenation pathways. This work reveals

Cutoff and Emergence of Dart Leaders in an Unbranched Positive Leader Simulation
Channel cutoff is the process by which an active lightning channel cools down, goes dark, and loses its ability to effectively conduct electricity. Current cutoff precedes several lightning phenomena, notably dart leaders and return strokes, but the ...

Mobility of ibuprofen, a persistent active drug, in soils irrigated with reclaimed water
Ibuprofen is not completely removed in wastewater treatment plants, and consequently, it may enter the soil through irrigation with reclaimed water. Subsequently, due to the reversible adsorption which takes place in the soil, this emerging pollutant can

Self-consistent Langmuir waves in resonantly driven thermal plasmas [PDF]
The longitudinal dynamics of a resonantly driven Langmuir wave are analyzed in the limit that the growth of the electrostatic wave is slow compared to the bounce frequency.

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.

Acentric langmuir-blodgett: film assemblies [PDF]
In recent years there has been considerable interest In the use of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films as the basis of active and passive thin film devices. One such application is in room temperature, pyroelectric thermal imaging systems.
